It all started with a 1991 Ford wrecker named “PEPE.”

 

John started Johnboy’s Towing in 1998. Since then, Johnboy’s has grown from a one-man/one-truck operation to one of the largest towing company on the Central Coast. Johnboy’s serves the Community 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week/ 365 days a year, as well as being a registered provider with the local police departments of Arroyo Grande, Grover Beach, San Luis Obispo, San Luis Obispo County Sheriffs’ Department and the California Highway Patrol, we utilize the latest in towing technology and equipment.
 

Our uniformed personnel include full-time drivers extensively trained in the use of towing equipment, to best serve the needs of our customers efficiently and safely. Our extensive inventory of equipment includes one-ton tow trucks , medium-duty vehicles, flat beds, heavy-duty tow trucks, semi-tractors, and Landoll trailers. Our business is tuned to the towing and recovery of semi tractor-trailers, medium-duty vehicles, passenger vehicles of all makes and models and flatbed transportation of all types up to and including most pieces of industrial machinery.

Our business is centrally located in Oceano and San Luis Obispo, which enhances our ability to serve the San Luis Obispo County as well as Northern Santa Barbara County. We also have the ability to serve customers in need of service in southern Monterey County.
